Program Overview:

A Baby's Closet

A Baby's Closet helps low-income families by providing essential baby items to safely and adequately care for their children. The program provides a unique opportunity to earn coupons which can be redeemed for clothing, cribs, car seats, or other baby supplies. Parents receive coupons for learning about nutrition and parenting and/or keeping prenatal and well child appointments, childbirth classes, and keeping their child's immunization records up to date. Some parents also earn coupons by continuing their education.

Let's GROW

In partnership with the Follinger Foundation and Associated Churches the Let's Grow program is a regranting project to provide support to urban non-profit childcare programs that care for children with the most need and the least amount of opportunity.

Rising Stars

Associated Churches staff will be working in the schools and churches to build community, cooperation, and provide tangible support to the children, their families, and the schools. Rising Stars works through after school programs and meeting needs of students in meaningful ways.

The Landing

The Landing is a place for students (ages 13- 19) who want more out of their life than what they're getting. It's a safe place for teens to find hope, healing, and freedom when life gets crazy.

Military Families

Military Families began in 2004 when Associated Churches began assisting struggling military families. Volunteers and businesses assist Associated Churches in donating holiday meals and gifts to families with loved ones deployed. Military Families also provides financial hardship relief to military families in the Allen County community.

Neighborhood Food Network

The Neighborhood Food Network offers families food once a month at no charge through a network of 26 local food pantries located in Fort Wayne and Allen County. The Food Bank is an "emergency food bank" - our pantries provide a five-day supply of food to prepare balanced and nutritious meals as recommended by the Dept. of Agriculture nutrition food chart. Clients must abide by the guidelines of the Food Bank Systems.

ACAD - Associated Churches Active in Disaster

Believing that all people can be living examples of love and compassion, Associated Churches offers a variety of missions, both local and nationally, to serve the hungry, disadvantaged and young.
